Sunday 4/03/2022 at 10 am - 6th Annual Spring Egg Hunt Join the Chi Che Wang Park Advisory Council for the 5th Annual Spring Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 3rd! - The hunt begins promptly at 10am - Please arrive early and bring a DOZEN filled eggs per child (Filler ideas: wrapped candy, temporary tattoos, stickers). Our volunteers will distribute the eggs prior to the hunt. - There will be a special roped-off area for children under age 2 - Special appearance by The Easter Bunny |

7/2/19 - 8/9/19 - Rollin' Rec Van
Rollin’ Rec was back at Chi Che Wang park this summer! Many friends joined park district staff for games, sports, gymnastics and more every Wednesday and Friday from 4-5:30pm. The program ran July 2 - August 9 and was FREE for kids of all ages. Thanks Chicago Park District for bringing this awesome program to our park.

4/7/19 at 10 am - 4th Annual Spring Egg Hunt
The Chi Che Wang Park Advisory Council's 4th annual Egg Hunt at CCW was the biggest hunt yet on April 7, 2019. Neighbors and friends enjoyed searching for eggs, photo ops with the Easter Bunny, crafting and learning more about supporting our awesome park.

8/31/18 - Movie in the Park: COCO
Thanks to everyone that rolled out their blankets on the lawn and snacked on concessions with us for our showing of Coco in the park. A little bit of rain wasn't enough to scare away our largest-ever crowd. Thanks for supporting our wonderful park!

7/5/18 - 8/17/18 - Rollin' Rec Van
Rollin’ Rec rolled back into Chi Che Wang Park this summer. Neighbors and friends joined in games, obstacles and activities led by friendly park district staff every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm. This free program was a hit with kids of all ages. Thanks for the workout, Rollin' Rec!

3/18/18 at 10 am - 3rd Annual Spring Egg Hunt
The Chi Che Wang Park Advisory Council's 3rd annual Egg Hunt at CCW was a huge hit with record-breaking attendance. Thanks to all our friends who came out to hunt for eggs, make springtime crafts and pose for a photo op with the Easter Bunny.

9/8/17 - Movie in the Park: Zootopia
And the award goes to...the hundreds of neighbors and friends who ventured out past dusk to catch a flick in the park with us. Kids and adults alike loved seeing this great film on the big screen right in our own backyard.

The Rollin' Rec van rolled into Chi Che Wang Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays bringing sports equipment, music, obstacle courses and games to participants of all ages. Rollin' Rec is a FREE Park District program that brings instructor-led sports, gymnastics and fitness activities for families to playlots like ours. Thanks for keeping our kids active this summer, Rollin' Rec!

10/8/16 and 10/9/16 - Midnight Circus in the Park at Hamlin Park
The circus life is for us! The October 8 and 9 showings of Midnight Circus in the Parks at Hamlin Park raised nearly $10,000 for our park through ticket sales, advertising sales and concessions. Together with the Hamlin Park Advisory Council, the Chi Che Wang PAC hosted 4 sold-out shows, had an incredible fleet of hard-working volunteers and, most importantly, had FUN while doing good for our community.
Many thanks to the wonderful fleet of volunteers, all of our generous community sponsors and advertisers, and for MCITP for their outstanding performances. Check out this clip from the troupe's final act!

8/23/16 - Urban Gateways Performance: "Animal Farm: Musical Tales"
Urban Gateways Touring Performances bring captivating live shows by many of Chicago's finest dance, music and theater artists to park sites across the city. We were thrilled to welcome ANIMAL FARM, a Chicago-based quartet of musicians and educators whose lively performances entertain and engage children of all ages, to our park for a live performance. Hundreds of friends and neighbors of all ages loved the catchy animal-themed tunes and hilarious antics. View the photos and video.

7/6/16 - 8/10/16 - Artmobile Wednesdays at Chi Che Wang
Neighborhood kids of all ages explored their creativity all summer with Artmobile Wednesdays at Chi Che Wang Park. From coloring to molding to beading to slap bracelet decorating, the projects presented by the Chicago Park District were a great way to beat the heat this summer. We look forward to more creative projects next summer with the Artmobile.

5/12/16 - The Dailey Method Bucktown Fundraiser
The Dailey Method Chicago hosted Chi Che Wang Park Advisory Council for a night of Fitness + Fun on Thursday, May 12th. The fitness room was filled with neighbors and friends of the park who came to sweat for a good cause, with 90% of event proceeds going towards park events and improvements!

3/19/16 - Spring Egg Hunt
Chi Che Wang Park's inaugural egg hunt was a big hit! Many thanks to the hundreds of friends that joined the PAC to search high and low for treasure-filled eggs. We hope your little ones had a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. We are already egg-cited for next year's hunt.

9/27/15 - Coffee and Donuts in the Park
Thank you to everyone who attended and donated to our kickoff event. It was a huge success! A special thank you to our sponsors Jewel Osco (Wellington Ashland Plaza), who provided the delicious donuts, and our friends at Starbucks (1700 W. Diversey), who donated the coffee.
