Advisory Council Meetings
The Chi Che Wang Park Advisory Council (PAC) formed in Spring 2015 with the mission to maintain a safe and accessible space for all to enjoy. As liaison between the community and the Park District, the PAC raises money to support and enhance the equipment and grounds and offer events and local programs at Chi Che Wang Park.
Since inception, the Chi Che Wang PAC has united hundreds of community members through a variety of events including Coffee & Donuts in the Park, spring egg hunts, on-site art projects with the Chicago Park District Artmobile, a live music concert by Urban Gateway performers and more.
Interested in becoming more involved? Looking to see specific improvements at the park? Have a great idea to raise money? Join the PAC for our quarterly meetings held at 7pm at Starbucks inside the Jewel at 2940 N Ashland (Ashland/Wellington complex). The meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in getting involved is encouraged to attend.
